2:41 AM

So this morning at 2:41 a.m. I was awakened by birds chirping outside my window. Can anyone tell me why a bird would feel the need to be chirping so late at night?

Are you kidding me? Maybe they are confused about the time change?

Maybe he is just happy. Maybe his wife had a baby:) I have actually heard a couple birds around here lately. It's trying so hard to spring. I know it won't really be spring until May around here, but I'll take any sign I can get! I hope you were able to get back to sleep.

He recently emigrated from the East Coast and forgot to set his clock back the three hours, plus one more for daylight savings. Confused bird!! :)

So late at night or so early in the morning??? I say morning and I say get a gun! JUST KIDDING. The birds in Waco are crazy. They chirp outside our window too.

They're Mockingbirds Minda. The Texas State bird. They love to sing at night - why?! I don't know ... maybe because it's Spring & for them "business" time! It will end soon & the lovely songs they'll sing to you all Summer will make any lack of sleep seem inconsequential. Maybe?!
